30-8-2023 (HONG KONG) Steven Cheung, a former member of the Cantopop duo Boyz, has recently made headlines due to his financial troubles. Cheung, who is married to model Au Man Man and has three children, has been facing financial hardship amid his turbulent personal life.
In July, the couple announced that they were expecting their fourth child. However, Cheung has reportedly been struggling to make ends meet and provide for his family, as he has faced difficulties in securing singing gigs following the exposure of his messy private life and infidelity.
In a surprising turn of events, a netizen spotted Cheung working at a snack shop in Hong Kong in July and shared the discovery online. The incident led to some ridicule from the public, but Cheung’s former label mate, Deep Ng, came to his defense. Ng questioned how many different jobs Cheung had taken on and emphasized that there should be no distinction between “noble” and “low-class” occupations.
On Saturday, August 26, Cheung took to Instagram to share his latest part-time job, which involved distributing condoms and flyers in the Causeway Bay area of Hong Kong. This promotional work was reportedly commissioned by a hotel booking app.
In his Instagram post, Cheung humorously wrote, “Accepting a new, fresh job (distributing) flyers today, and working hard to earn money for milk powder!”
