(Chiang Mai) A shocking incident has come to light in the northern province of Chiang Mai, where a high school teacher stands accused of capturing pornographic images and videos of his male students. The suspect, identified as Yos, 53, was apprehended on Friday outside a school in tambon Tha Sala, located in the Muang district.
Law enforcement officials seized a hard drive from the suspect, containing a staggering 14 gigabytes of explicit photos and videos. As a result, Yos is now facing charges for the possession of pornographic materials.
According to police reports, the suspect allegedly convinced numerous male students to consent to being photographed and filmed in the nude, with all the explicit content being stored on the confiscated hard drive.
During interrogation, the suspect purportedly admitted to taking the photos and videos for his personal entertainment. However, he vehemently denied any intentions of selling or exploiting the material for the detriment of his students.
Unfortunately, the investigative team at the Chiang Mai provincial police discovered that Yos had uploaded numerous pornographic photos and videos featuring young boys on various online platforms. It was reported that the suspect claimed the boys had willingly posed for the explicit content.
Pol Maj Gen Thawatchai Pongwiwatthanachai, the Chief of Chiang Mai Police, stated that there was no evidence indicating that the teacher had coerced or threatened the students into participating in the explicit photo sessions.
Currently, the authorities are in the process of determining the exact number of students involved in this distressing incident. As some of the explicit material had been stored on the hard drive for an extended period, a thorough investigation will be required to ascertain the full extent of the situation.
In addition to his role as a teacher, Mr. Yos has also served as a football coach at the school for over two decades. The implications of his alleged actions have sent shockwaves through the local community, leaving many parents and students deeply disturbed.
