18-1-2025 (JAKARTA) A 25-year-old French national lost his life in a tragic hit-and-run accident during the early hours of Friday morning in Bali’s popular tourist district of Canggu. The incident occurred at approximately 4:30 AM on 17 January 2025 along Jalan Raya Canggu, near the boundary between Canggu and Pererenan villages.
The victim, identified only by the initials LPJM, suffered fatal head injuries when his Honda Vario scooter was struck from behind by an unidentified vehicle. Inspector Putu Sukarma, Head of Public Relations at Badung Police, confirmed the incident to local media.
