19-2-2025 (BANGKOK) Four Israeli nationals have been deported from Thailand following a string of disruptive incidents at a rural hospital, immigration officials announced today.
The group faced deportation after their unruly behaviour at Pai Hospital in northern Thailand’s Mae Hong Son province sparked outrage on social media and prompted swift action from authorities.
The individuals, identified as Daniel, Aviv, Or Emanoel, and Dan Nisko, were accused of multiple offences including harassment of medical staff, vandalism of hospital property, and unauthorised smoking on hospital grounds. Staff reported the visitors had repeatedly abused doctors, made threatening gestures, and refused to pay for medical services.
The case came to light after healthcare workers detailed the troubling incidents on the popular “AggressiveDoctor” Facebook page earlier this month, leading to a joint investigation by Mae Hong Son Immigration and Pai Police.
All four admitted to charges of causing public disturbance through intimidation and harassment. Each was fined 3,000 baht (approximately £67) before being transferred to immigration custody.
Immigration Bureau Commissioner, Police Lieutenant General Panumart Boonyaluck, confirmed at Tuesday’s press briefing that the group had been expelled via a direct flight to Israel from Bangkok’s Suvarnabhumi Airport on 13 February.
“These individuals have been permanently blacklisted from entering Thailand,” Boonyaluck stated. “This enforcement applies to any foreign national who disturbs public order, regardless of nationality.”
The case has prompted Thailand’s National Police Chief, Police General Kittirat Phanphet, to order enhanced scrutiny of foreign visitors. He encouraged citizens to report suspicious activities to immigration authorities.
