3-9-2023 (KUALA LUMPUR) Five additional suspects have been apprehended in relation to the tragic killing of a man in Kapar. The North Klang OCPD, Assistant Commissioner S. Vijaya Rao, announced that the suspects, aged between 30 and 40, were arrested in various locations around Kapar between 11 p.m. on Friday and 5 a.m. yesterday.
“They have been placed in remand until Tuesday. This brings the total number of suspects to six,” ACP Vijaya Rao stated during a recent interview.
The motive behind the murder is still under investigation, according to ACP Vijaya Rao.
Furthermore, the police had previously arrested an individual in his 20s on Friday in connection with the fatal shooting.
On August 30th, the lifeless body of a 36-year-old man, who had a criminal history and was known for involvement in drug-related offenses, was discovered with gunshot wounds along Jalan Hamzah Alang 22/KU9.
Eyewitnesses informed the police that they had heard what seemed to be gunshots following a traffic accident.
