11-6-2023 (SINGAPORE) A blaze broke out on Saturday morning in a residential property on Camden Park in Adam Road, engulfing a wooden sauna room situated on the second floor. Disturbing footage captured by a nearby vehicle reveals thick black smoke billowing from the rooftop as flames raged within.
The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) swiftly responded to the emergency, following an alert received at approximately 8 a.m. Promptly arriving at 20 Camden Park, SCDF personnel worked to combat the fire, which primarily affected the sauna room’s contents.
Utilizing a powerful water jet, the SCDF successfully extinguished the flames, preventing the fire from spreading further throughout the premises. Fortunately, no injuries were reported as a result of the incident.
The cause of the fire is currently under investigation by the relevant authorities.
