5-6-2024 (BANGKOK) A chilling discovery has sent shockwaves through the Pathum Thani community as the body of a female student was found mysteriously wrapped and discarded under the Bang Phun Expressway. Officials have launched an urgent investigation into the disturbing crime scene, leaving residents grappling with a sense of unease and demanding swift justice.
On June 5, reports flooded in from the NAKON45 page, operated by Anyawut Phoumpai, alerting authorities to a harrowing sight. The message read, “Urgent.!! Pathumthani Ruamkatanyu Foundation Send volunteers to investigate the incident where a naked woman’s body was found in the grass under Bang Phun Expressway Mueang Pathum Thani District.”
Initial details painted a grim picture, with the body of a young woman, estimated to be no older than 20 years, found wrapped in a gray blanket and bound with a belt from a Rajabhat University, secured three times.
Upon preliminary examination, the gruesome nature of the crime became increasingly apparent. Both wrists of the deceased had been severed, prompting officials to scour the area urgently in search of the missing hands, hoping to retrieve crucial evidence for identification purposes.
Moreover, a wound was discovered in the neck area, and clothes hangers were found binding the victim’s legs together – a chilling testament to the calculated and heinous nature of the act.
As the investigation unfolds, a crucial lead has emerged. Witnesses in the area reported spotting a suspicious man riding a motorcycle around 5:45 am, shortly before the body’s discovery. The individual was seen attempting to drag a trash can in front of a nearby garage, potentially in an effort to conceal the body of the female student and cover up the crime.
Authorities are now racing against time, canvassing the area for additional witnesses and scouring surveillance footage in hopes of identifying the perpetrator responsible for this brutal act.
