1-9-2023 (KUALA LUMPUR) In an awe-inspiring display of skill and bravery, a female soldier in Malaysia astounded spectators by performing a thrilling motorcycle stunt during the country’s National Day celebrations. The remarkable feat took place on August 31st, which marked Malaysia’s 66th Independence Day. The soldier, Sergeant Saidatul Husna Kamaruddin, rode her motorcycle up a steep ramp and soared over a contingent of 66 motorcycles, leaving the audience in awe.
The daring stunt by Sgt. Saidatul was one of the highlights of the Merdeka Day celebrations, which took place outside Putra Square. Attended by dignitaries including Sultan Abdullah, Queen Azizah, and Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim, the event showcased various performances to commemorate the nation’s birthday.
Dressed in a striking red riding suit that matched her motorcycle, Sgt. Saidatul prepared herself for the impressive jump. As she approached the ramp with steady speed, the group of 66 bikers waited in anticipation at the foot of the ramp. With the signal to proceed, the fearless soldier launched herself into the air, effortlessly clearing the motorcycles below.
After an exhilarating moment in the air, Sgt. Saidatul landed safely at a distance from the other riders. As she circled back to her starting point, the crowd, including Sultan Abdullah, erupted in thunderous applause, acknowledging her exceptional skill and courage.
Sgt. Saidatul, a member of the Army Red Warrior Motorcycle Acrobatics Team for the past 13 years, holds the female record for the longest motorcycle jump in Malaysia. Last March, she achieved this remarkable feat, showcasing her mastery of motorcycle acrobatics. When asked about her preparations before each jump, she revealed that she empties her mind and offers prayers for a smooth performance. Sgt. Saidatul also attributes the success of her stunts to the presence of her family at the events, providing her with unwavering support.
