The 76-year-old singer, who recently concluded his extensive Farewell Yellow Brick Road tour, was transported to the orthopaedic department of the Princess Grace hospital center in Monaco, according to the BBC.
A spokesperson for Elton John stated, “Elton visited the local hospital as a precautionary measure. Following check-ups, he was immediately discharged this morning and is now back at home and in good health.”
