16-6-2023 (SINGAPORE) When it comes to male genitalia, size matters to many individuals, and the length of the penis is often considered an important factor. According to the latest data survey, Ecuador, located in South America, ranks as the country with the longest average erect penis length, measuring at 17.61 centimeters. In contrast, Malaysia falls below the global average with an average length of 11.49 centimeters.
A survey conducted by World Data, encompassing 90 countries worldwide, revealed that the average erect penis length among men globally is 13.58 centimeters. Among the countries surveyed, Ecuador claimed the top spot with its impressive average length of 17.61 centimeters, while Cambodia recorded the shortest average length at 10.4 centimeters.
The top five countries with the longest average erect penis lengths are predominantly located in Africa and Central/South America. Apart from Ecuador, the list includes Cameroon, Bolivia, Sudan, and Haiti, all with average lengths exceeding 16.1 centimeters. In Europe, the Netherlands boasts the longest average length at 15.87 centimeters, while the United States falls in line with the global average at 13.58 centimeters.
In terms of Asian countries, Japan leads with an average length of 13.56 centimeters, followed by China with 13.07 centimeters and Taiwan with 12.6 centimeters. Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam, Thailand, Bangladesh, and Hong Kong all have average lengths exceeding 11 centimeters. Sri Lanka, the Philippines, Myanmar, and Cambodia rank at the lower end, with average lengths slightly over 10 centimeters.
However, it is important to note that Dr. Anthony Youn, a renowned surgeon, previously emphasized that self-reported data, which was used in this study, may not be entirely accurate. Men often tend to exaggerate when it comes to matters of size. Dr. Youn stated, “The research shows that the average erect length for American men is 13 centimeters, but in reality, it may be shorter because most men with smaller penises might not be willing to participate in such surveys.”
