5-11-2024 (SINGAPORE) British pop sensation Dua Lipa has treated her Instagram followers to a culinary tour of Singapore as she prepares for the Asian launch of her Radical Optimism Tour in the city-state.
The Grammy Award-winning artist shared photographs of her cultural exploration through Singapore’s historic Katong district, including a visit to the Sri Senpaga Vinayagar Temple and a stop at the renowned 328 Katong Laksa. The “Levitating” hitmaker was also spotted enjoying local favourites at New Ubin Seafood in CHIJMES, where she sampled Singapore’s iconic chilli crab.
“So far this tour is powered by sour plum juice, chilli crab, and laksa!” the singer enthused on social media, prompting an outpouring of local food recommendations from fans, including suggestions for chicken rice, satay, and pandan cake.

The Singapore concerts, scheduled for November 5 and 6, mark the beginning of Dua Lipa’s ambitious Radical Optimism Tour. The additional date was added following overwhelming demand from fans in the region. This stadium tour, her first of such scale, will traverse Asia before concluding in the United States in October 2025.
This visit marks the artist’s return to Singapore after a six-year hiatus, following her 2018 performances at The Star Theatre and the Singapore Grand Prix, where she appeared alongside DJ Martin Garrix.
The tour supports her latest album, also titled “Radical Optimism,” and represents a significant milestone as her first stadium-level international tour, showcasing her evolution from pop starlet to global superstar.
