20-8-2023 (BEIJING) In a shocking revelation, a 19-year-old Chinese live-streamer known as “Water Ghost Brother” (水鬼哥哥) has admitted to engaging in an incestuous relationship with his younger sister, who is one year his junior and also a live-streamer known as “Xi Xi Er” (希希儿). This disturbing revelation has stirred outrage and disbelief among Chinese internet users, prompting a broader discussion about moral values.
The sister is currently pregnant, and her brother justified their relationship by stating, “We are siblings by blood, but husband and wife because of the child.”
The 19-year-old recently posted several selfies with his sister on Douyin, the Chinese version of TikTok. These images included kissing shots, pregnancy test results displaying a positive outcome, and intimate photos of his pregnant sister. Remarkably, he has an official girlfriend, but he continued to share videos of himself kissing and displaying affection towards his sister.
He claimed that the three of them had a close relationship and used to sleep together frequently. However, he temporarily separated from his girlfriend after his sister became pregnant to focus on caring for her and the baby. He expressed happiness, remarking, “The person who grew up with me from childhood is now going to become my wife.”
He further criticized his girlfriend for not wanting to have children with him, stating, “My own sister is better; my girlfriend is not willing to give me a child. It’s ridiculous, my sister can give me one.” As legal marriage between biological siblings is prohibited, he mentioned in his livestream that he plans to marry his girlfriend after his sister gives birth, intending to register the child born to him and his sister as if it were his girlfriend’s child.
