26-6-2023 (JAKARTA) In a shocking incident fueled by jealousy, a man in Cilandak went to the extreme of smearing his girlfriend’s face with his own excrement.
According to the chronology provided by Cilandak Police Chief, Commissioner Wahid Key, the incident began when EP grew suspicious that his girlfriend was having an affair.
EP decided to pay a visit to his girlfriend’s boarding house in the Fatmawati area of Cilandak, South Jakarta.
“To his surprise, when he arrived at the boarding house, he found another man inside the room who immediately fled as soon as the door was opened,” Wahid Key said when contacted on Friday (June 23, 2023).
Wahid explained that EP felt betrayed since he had been the one covering the monthly boarding expenses and even providing transportation for his girlfriend, whom we’ll call Bunga, aged 23, to and from work.
“Feeling deeply hurt because EP had been shouldering the monthly boarding expenses and had been driving his girlfriend to work,” he added.
With mounting anger, EP resorted to physically assaulting his girlfriend, going as far as smearing his own feces onto her face.
“It wasn’t just the smearing; the victim was also forced to eat the excrement,” Wahid stated.
Enraged by EP’s actions, Bunga reported the incident to the Cilandak Police and requested a medical examination.
Several days after the report, Cilandak Police successfully apprehended EP.
“In the process of handling the case at Cilandak Police, the suspect EP was arrested a few days after the report was filed,” Wahid said.
EP now faces charges under Article 351, Paragraph 1, which carries a maximum prison sentence of 2.8 years.
