10-7-2023 (SINGAPORE) International pop sensation Taylor Swift recently announced a series of six concerts for “The Eras Tour” in Singapore, making it the only stop in Southeast Asia apart from Japan. The tickets for these highly anticipated shows were in such high demand that they sold out immediately upon their release last Monday!
Last month, Taylor Swift held a concert in the United States, where a 62-year-old grandmother instantly became an internet sensation among fans. This dedicated grandmother went above and beyond to fully immerse herself in the Taylor Swift concert experience. In order to be able to sing along to every single song, she took meticulous preparation. Astonishingly, she printed out the lyrics to every song, a whopping 80 pages in total! Armed with this thick booklet of lyrics, she brought it along to the concert venue.
She meticulously copied and pasted each lyric into Microsoft Word, printing them on the front and back of each page. She secured the 80-page lyric book with a leopard-print clip. Additionally, she brought along a mini reading light to ensure that she could see the lyrics clearly in the limited lighting of the concert venue.
Initially, she was concerned that the fans around her might mock her, but to her surprise, the fans gathered around her and shared the lyrics together. This heartwarming scene was captured by another fan and uploaded to TikTok, garnering an impressive 4 million views and 750,000 likes in just a few hours!
Commenting on the video, one internet user wrote, “This is Taylor Swift’s congregation.”

The grandmother revealed that her idea was inspired by her experiences in church. Even after attending church for 60 years, she always brings her prayer book with her to ensure she doesn’t miss a single word.
Her daughter once asked her why she didn’t simply read the lyrics on her phone. The grandmother responded, “The text is too small,” and she also didn’t want her phone to distract her during the concert. Thus, she printed the lyrics in a size that she could comfortably read.
