10-6-2023 (KUALA LUMPUR) Earlier, Jocelyn Chia’s Instagram account was blocked due to her offensive and hateful comments. After it was restored briefly yesterday, it has now been blocked for the second time.
Yesterday, upon the restoration of her Instagram account, she posted four consecutive stories, appearing quite active. However, she showed no remorse and did not apologize for her remarks to the public.
She also explained the situation in her Instagram stories, claiming that her account was blocked for impersonating a famous person.

“There are rumors circulating that I either deleted my Instagram account or that my account was deleted.
“In fact, my account was deleted because I was accused of impersonating a well-known person. Who is that well-known person? Jocelyn Chia.”
She accompanied this statement with several smiley emojis.
Last night, when a Twitter user logged into Jocelyn Chia’s Instagram account, the page displayed “user not found,” indicating that the account no longer exists.
During her stand-up comedy performance in New York, Jocelyn Chia made remarks about the relationship between Malaysia and Singapore, insulting the Malaysian economy in comparison to Singapore. Additionally, she sarcastically commented on Malaysia’s airplanes being unable to fly, indirectly referring to the MH370 tragedy, which sparked outrage and criticism among Malaysians.
