23-5-2023 In a surprising turn of events, Coldplay recently announced their upcoming concert in Malaysia with ticket prices ranging from RM228 to RM3,088. Despite the anticipation and fans eagerly waiting in front of their computers on the ticket release day, many were left disappointed as they failed to secure tickets.
What’s even more astounding is the subsequent skyrocketing of ticket prices, reaching an astonishing RM42,000. This exorbitant price tag left many in utter disbelief.
However, amidst the struggle to obtain tickets, imagine receiving them as a gift. How would you feel? Well, a recent incident in Indonesia has sparked a discussion as a groom presented Coldplay concert tickets as a dowry to his bride, capturing the attention of many.
A video shared on Twitter by user @fhfndtaaa shows the bride’s father revealing the groom’s unconventional dowry, which included not only the purchased concert tickets but also 21 grams of gold for the bride.
The location of the wedding was not specified by the user, so it remains uncertain whether this heartwarming gesture took place in Malaysia or abroad.
Nevertheless, similar occurrences of sold-out concerts and ticket scalping have been observed both in Malaysia and Indonesia.
On the other hand, Coldplay is scheduled to perform at GBK Main Stadium in Jakarta on November 15th, followed by a concert at the National Stadium Bukit Jalil in Malaysia on the 22nd.
