15-11-2023 (SAN FRANCISCO) In a significant diplomatic visit, Chinese President Xi Jinping arrived in San Francisco on Tuesday (November 14th) at approximately 2:35 PM local time, according to Xinhua News Agency.
President Xi’s visit to San Francisco is in conjunction with the upcoming meeting between the leaders of China and the United States. He is scheduled to hold a summit with US President Biden and participate in the 30th Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Leaders’ Informal Meeting.
Accompanying President Xi on this visit are Cai Qi, a member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee and Director of the General Office of the CPC Central Committee, as well as Wang Yi, a member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and the Minister of Foreign Affairs.
