25-4-2024 (JAKARTA) A recent incident at the Mall of Indonesia in Kelapa Gading, Indonesia, saw a child accidentally crashing a display car into a wall, according to Kelapa Gading police chief commissioner Maulana Mukarom. The incident occurred on Sunday, April 21, and was reported by the commissioner in a statement on Monday, April 22.
According to reports, the child was in the driver’s seat when he unintentionally pressed the accelerator pedal, causing the car to crash into the wall. Subsequently, a video capturing the incident went viral, depicting the child being extracted from the car after the crash and receiving a scolding from his mother.
Fortunately, no one sustained any injuries as a result of the incident. The police chief commissioner stated that the matter has been resolved between the showroom organiser and the boy’s family. Furthermore, the police have concluded their investigation and confirmed that the case is now closed.
