12-12-2024 (SINGAPORE) OpenAI’s revolutionary chatbot ChatGPT experienced a widespread service disruption on Thursday morning, marking a significant interruption to one of the world’s most popular artificial intelligence platforms.
The outage, which began at 7:30 a.m., left users worldwide unable to access the service, with visitors to the platform being greeted by error messages indicating the service was “currently unavailable”. Technical teams at OpenAI immediately launched investigations to identify and resolve the issue.
