30-7-2023 (LAS VEGAS) Cardi B made headlines over the weekend after an incident during her performance at Drai’s Beachclub in Las Vegas. The New York-born rapper was in the middle of performing her hit song “Bodak Yellow” when a disruptive concertgoer decided to throw a drink at her.
In response to the unruly fan’s actions, Cardi B was visibly startled and taken aback. However, she quickly transformed into a fastball-throwing southpaw and retaliated by hurling her microphone at the culprit. Security personnel promptly intervened to handle the situation while the 30-year-old rapper expressed her frustration from the stage.
A video shared on Cardi B’s social media page captured the moment, showing the artist’s reaction to the unexpected attack. Despite the incident, Cardi B managed to continue her performance after retrieving the microphone.

As of now, it is unclear whether any charges have been filed against the concertgoer involved in the altercation.
Interestingly, the night before the incident at Drai’s Beachclub, Cardi B had another microphone-throwing incident at Drai’s nightclub. According to a TikTok video, she reportedly threw a microphone at the DJ after repeatedly being interrupted during her performance.
Following the incident, the video of Cardi B’s mic throw gained significant traction on Twitter, garnering over 25 million views. Fans showed their support for the “I Like It” hitmaker, expressing their solidarity with the artist.
