22-5-2024 (JAKARTA) Early this morning, a bus carrying students from MIN 1 Pesisir Barat plunged into a ravine in Sedayu, Tanggamus Regency, Lampung, resulting in six casualties. The accident occurred around 1:30 am local time, according to Tanggamus Police Chief AKBP Rinaldo Aser.
“There was a single accident early this morning at approximately 01:30am, where a bus fell into a ravine on Sedayu Hill,” Aser reported.
Aser confirmed that six passengers, including the driver, were injured in the accident, with some sustaining serious injuries. “There are six victims, including the driver, and treatment is ongoing. Several victims have suffered broken bones,” he added.
The bus, bearing the registration number AD-7719-OG, was transporting 41 passengers, including the driver, for a study tour to Bandar Lampung.
“The bus had 41 passengers, including the driver, and was en route to Bandar Lampung for a study tour,” Aser concluded.
