14-8-2023 (LOS ANGELES) Nordstrom Department Store in Topanga Mall, Los Angeles, was targeted by approximately 50 masked thugs on Saturday afternoon (12th), resulting in a large-scale robbery of expensive handbags and clothing estimated to be worth up to $100,000. Less than a week ago, a YSL store in Los Angeles County was also looted.
According to international reports, around 4 p.m. last Saturday, a group of around 50 masked individuals stormed into Nordstrom at Topanga Mall, with their sights set on luxury brands, particularly the Italian boutique brand Bottega Veneta. Videos captured the scene where the thugs wreaked havoc in the merchandise display area, smashing counters and toppling shelves, while carrying bags to loot as many items as possible. Helpless store employees could only witness this brazen robbery.

Authorities stated that after making off with approximately $60,000 to $100,000 worth of merchandise, the criminals fled the scene in several BMW and Lexus vehicles.
During the robbery, one security guard was even attacked with pepper spray, which can cause severe harm to the eyes and respiratory system. Medical personnel quickly provided treatment. The Los Angeles Police Department emphasized that they would make every effort to apprehend the suspects and prosecute them with criminal charges.
Concerningly, this robbery is not an isolated incident. Less than five days ago, a YSL store in Glendale, Los Angeles County, was also looted by approximately 30 individuals, resulting in the theft of around $300,000 worth of high-end products. The two incidents bear striking similarities, although authorities have yet to determine if there are any connections between the perpetrators.
