9-6-2023 (BEIJING) A harrowing incident caught the attention of the online world in China when a young boy found himself stuck in an elevator for over 20 minutes. Thankfully, he was safely rescued after he stood on his bicycle to reach the emergency button on the elevator control panel.
The incident took place in an apartment building in Jiujiang City, Jiangxi Province, China. The boy entered the elevator alone, pushing his bicycle along. However, unexpectedly, the elevator malfunctioned and became “stuck.”
At that moment, the young boy was all by himself, without any adults around to seek advice or assistance. However, he bravely overcame the stress and fear, demonstrating remarkable composure by pressing all the buttons in the elevator. Yet, he was left disappointed when he couldn’t reach the button meant to summon help.
Despite his unsuccessful attempts, the determined boy came up with another brilliant idea. He climbed onto his bicycle and stretched his hand to reach the emergency call button, successfully alerting someone for assistance. His courageous actions paid off as he managed to free himself from the challenging situation.
The boy’s mother (name withheld) shared that her child often spends time playing alone at home. She expressed pride in witnessing her son’s incredible independence during this incident.
