The incident involved a pressure cooker explosion at a braised meat restaurant on Monday morning. The powerful blast caused damage to nearby vehicles and buildings, according to CCTV.
On June 21, a gas explosion at a barbecue eatery in the northwestern Ningxia region resulted in the tragic death of 31 people, making it one of the deadliest blasts in recent years. In response to the incident, President Xi Jinping urged all regions to rectify safety risks and take action.
Prompted by these explosions, the state council and local governments swiftly issued warnings and called for thorough investigations into potential “hidden dangers” to eradicate fire hazards.
In another incident on Friday, a house collapsed in the central city of Zhengzhou due to a gas leak explosion, trapping four individuals. Fortunately, all four were later rescued.
