27-7-2023 (HANOI) Despite the ongoing pandemic, the “Blackpink World Tour 2023” featuring the South Korean girl group phenomenon will proceed as planned for two nights on July 29 and 30 in Hanoi’s My Dinh stadium. The show is expected to attract an impressive 67,000 concertgoers, according to an announcement by the Hanoi People’s Committee on Tuesday.
The committee has assigned departments and agencies, including the City Police and the Capital High Command, to develop a plan to ensure safety and security during the show. The Department of Health has also been asked to develop a health plan, particularly relating to disease prevention and control.
The committee has called on relevant units to strengthen communications for international cultural events, promote Vietnam’s image as a friendly and hospitable destination suitable for hosting political, cultural, sports, and international events.
