26-6-2023 (HONG KONG) Investment company Berkshire Hathaway, owned by Warren Buffett, has recently sold 2.53 million Hong Kong-listed shares of electric vehicle manufacturer BYD for a total of HK$675.80 million (US$86.3 million), according to a filing with the Hong Kong stock exchange.
The sale, which took place on June 19, resulted in Berkshire Hathaway’s stake in BYD’s issued H-shares decreasing from 9.21% to 8.98%, as disclosed in the filing on Monday.
