14-6-2023 (KUALA LUMPUR) This morning, a violent storm struck Penang, unleashing a waterspout near the vicinity of the Penang Bridge. A car inadvertently drove into the path of the waterspout.
According to a video captured from inside a moving vehicle, the waterspout originated from the direction of Butterworth and moved towards the Penang Bridge. The footage shows a motorcyclist parked at the emergency stopping area of the bridge, hesitating to continue their journey.
As the waterspout approached the bridge, the car in the video collided with it and was engulfed by the spray of water unleashed by the waterspout.
