11-6-2023 (BANGKOK) In a remarkable turn of events, a 25-year-old Thai woman survived a severe car accident after her vehicle collided with a factory wall in the Mueang district of Chachoengsao province. Eyewitnesses at the scene reported that the driver, identified as Chalita, appeared to have dozed off while behind the wheel. Interestingly, Chalita’s mother claimed to have received warnings about the incident from a fortune teller.
Upon receiving a report of the crash on Chachoengsao-Suwinthawong Road, local authorities and rescue teams swiftly arrived at the scene. They discovered a heavily damaged white Nissan Almera, bearing the license plate 3 ขฆ4775 Bangkok, that had forcefully collided with a factory wall.
Despite the impact, Chalita sustained only minor wounds and neck pain. First responders and nearby residents promptly provided assistance, transporting her to Kasemrad Hospital for further evaluation and treatment. Prior to the accident, Chalita had enjoyed a meal with friends near Suwinthawong market and had later dropped them off in Mueang Chachoengsao.
A 17-year-old witness named Wasin recounted his experience of riding his motorcycle towards the Nham Daeng district when the incident unfolded. He observed the speeding car narrowly avoiding a collision with his bike. Chalita veered to the right, narrowly missing a central barrier, before abruptly turning left, causing the car to skid and crash into the factory wall. Wasin speculated that Chalita might have momentarily dozed off and overcorrected upon waking up, leading to the accident.
Upon receiving news of her daughter’s misfortune, Chalita’s mother hurried to the scene. She expressed profound shock over the incident, revealing that she had sensed a premonition and had made multiple unsuccessful attempts to contact Chalita. Prior to the accident, a fortune teller had cautioned her about a potential accident during this transitional phase of her daughter’s life. Despite regularly taking Chalita to make merit, her mother could not have foreseen such a heart-wrenching incident. Nevertheless, she remains immensely grateful that her daughter survived the accident.
