(Kuala Lumpur) – Malaysian men’s doubles pair Man Wei Chong and Tee Kai Wun have secured a spot in the final of the Malaysian Masters. The world No. 26 duo defeated Indonesia’s Leo Rolly and Daniel Marthin, who are ranked ninth in the world, in a thrilling last-four encounter at the Axiata Arena. Wei Chong and Kai Wun won 21-17, 22-20 to reach their first-ever World Tour Super 500 final.
In the final on Sunday (May 28), Wei Chong and Kai Wun will face South Korea’s Kang Min-hyuk and Seo Seung-jae, who are ranked 16th in the world. The Malaysian duo will be hoping to continue their impressive form and secure the title on home soil.
