10-2-2025 (SEOUL) A seven-year-old schoolgirl lost her life following a brutal stabbing at a local primary school on Monday morning.
The young victim, who sustained severe injuries to her neck and facial area, was discovered in cardiac arrest by emergency responders. Despite immediate medical intervention and swift transfer to a nearby hospital, medical staff were unable to save the child’s life.
Law enforcement officials have identified a female teacher in her forties as the primary suspect in this tragic case. The suspect, who was also found with stab wounds, has been taken to hospital for treatment. Sources close to the investigation reveal that she has subsequently acknowledged her involvement in the incident.
According to police sources, the teacher had previously taken extended leave from her teaching duties whilst battling depression, only returning to her position at the school in late 2024. The circumstances surrounding her return to work and the events leading up to Monday’s incident are now subject to thorough police investigation.
