Prime Minister Hun Manet announced the remarkable feat on Thursday, revealing that a staggering 179 supercars and hypercars had converged at the site on 17 September. The event, which saw these high-performance vehicles arrayed before the iconic Angkor Wat Temple, was designed to showcase the UNESCO World Heritage site to a global audience.
The record-breaking assembly was officially documented by a Guinness World Records adjudicator at the time, with the official confirmation arriving on Thursday. This unprecedented confluence of cutting-edge automotive technology and ancient architectural splendour has thrust Cambodia into the international spotlight, bridging millennia in a single, stunning spectacle.
