1-10-2024 (BEIJING) In a bizarre incident that could have ended tragically, a drunken man in Huizhou, Guangdong province, found himself in a precarious situation after picking a fight with a python. The unusual confrontation, which took place in the early hours of the 29th, required intervention from local firefighters to resolve.
The intoxicated individual, whose identity remains undisclosed, was reportedly lying on a roadside in Guangzhou when he encountered the 15-kilogram serpent. Rather than exercising caution, the man, emboldened by alcohol, decided to provoke the python. His ill-advised attempt to “challenge” the reptile quickly backfired, resulting in a potentially life-threatening predicament.
Eyewitnesses reported that the python, responding to the man’s aggressive behaviour, promptly coiled itself tightly around him, rendering him immobile. Alarmed passersby promptly alerted the authorities, leading to a swift response from both the police and fire brigade.
Upon arrival at the scene, emergency responders were confronted with the surreal sight of the inebriated man pinned to the ground by the powerful constrictor. Utilising specialised equipment and exercising extreme caution, firefighters meticulously worked to disentangle the man from the python’s grip.
