12-9-2024 (KUALA LUMPUR) A harrowing incident has cast a shadow over what should have been a joyous European getaway for a popular Malaysian social media personality. Beautrice Mok, a 31-year-old influencer who is seven months pregnant with twins, fell victim to a violent robbery while holidaying in Spain with her husband.
The attack, which occurred yesterday, left Mok in a precarious medical situation. According to reports, the assailant pushed the heavily pregnant woman to the ground, causing her to land face-first on the pavement. The incident prompted an immediate rush to a local emergency room for urgent medical attention.
Upon examination, doctors discovered that Mok had suffered a cervical laceration and significant bruising to her forehead, which was causing pressure on her eyes. Initial concerns were heightened when medical staff detected a weak heartbeat in one of the foetuses. However, after a period of rest and close observation, both unborn babies’ conditions stabilised, much to the relief of the expectant parents.
Mok shared details of her ordeal through her Instagram Stories, keeping her followers updated on her condition. Despite the traumatic experience, she reported that there were no severe complications for either herself or her unborn children.

Following confirmation from Spanish healthcare professionals that her pregnancy was not in immediate danger, Mok and her husband made the decision to cut short their European holiday. The couple boarded a flight back to Malaysia today, where Mok is expected to receive further medical care and monitoring for the remainder of her pregnancy.
