1-6-2024 (KUALA LUMPUR) In a tragic turn of events, the parents of six-year-old autistic boy Zayn Rayyan Abdul Matiin, who was found murdered in December last year, have been arrested by Malaysian authorities. The arrest took place in Puncak Alam around 11 a.m. on Friday, May 31, as reported by Sinar Harian.
Selangor police chief Comm Datuk Hussein Omar Khan confirmed the arrest of the couple and stated that they will be brought before the Petaling Jaya Magistrate’s Court this morning for a remand order.
The harrowing case dates back to December 5, when Zayn Rayyan was reported missing from his home in Damansara Damai, Kuala Lumpur. Tragically, his body was discovered the following day near a stream approximately 200 meters from his residence at Apartment Idaman.
A post-mortem examination revealed injuries to the young boy’s neck and body, leading authorities to conclude that he had been killed under devastating circumstances.
While the details surrounding the arrest of Zayn Rayyan’s parents remain scarce, their apprehension marks a significant development in the investigation into the child’s untimely demise.
