4-5-2024 (SINGAPORE) The city-state of Singapore has enlisted an unlikely new tourism envoy – former Pussycat Dolls frontwoman Nicole Scherzinger. The American singer and actress, 45, has been hard at work promoting the Lion City’s top attractions in a glamorous collaboration with the Singapore Tourism Board.
Scherzinger kicked off her Singapore sojourn by teasing Instagram followers with photos at iconic locations like Gardens by the Bay and Marina Bay. “I can’t wait to show you what I’ve been up to with Visit Singapore. Have you ever been?” she captioned her sponsored post, clad in a figure-hugging red dress.

The next day saw Scherzinger take to Instagram Reels modelling four dazzling outfits as she strutted through Gardens by the Bay, the eclectic Haw Par Villa park and Sentosa island’s Sensoryscape trail. “Runways made in Singapore,” declared the tourism ad, as Scherzinger worked her best supermodel strut.
Fans went wild for the elaborate promo. “Why was I ready for some of your vocals to kick in like this was a new single?” one commenter quipped. The Singapore Tourism Board gushed: “You’ve got the best outfits for each of these local spots, Nicole.”

Giving followers a cheeky behind-the-scenes peek, Scherzinger shared clips exploring the offbeat statues of Haw Par Villa’s Chinese mythology park. Spotting a sculpture of a man smoking a pipe, she whispered: “I wanna know what this guy is smoking?” When informed it may be opium, the stunned star exclaimed: “I thought this was a religious site!”
Other snippets saw Scherzinger living it up at a Sentosa beach club, dancing to her former band’s hit “Buttons” as it blasted from the speakers. She even treated fans to an impromptu dance routine to Beyoncé’s new single “Texas Hold ‘Em” amid the tropical splendour of Gardens by the Bay.
