19-4-2024 (JAKARTA) Actress Sandra Dewi’s social media presence has taken an unexpected turn, with her Instagram account seemingly disappearing after the comments section was previously disabled.
Sandra Dewi, who had been active under the username @sandradewi88, is now untraceable on Instagram. Even if an account bearing that name exists, it’s either a fan page or another individual using the name Sandra Dewi.
According to a report from Business Insider, there are two potential explanations for the sudden vanishing act of someone’s Instagram account.
Firstly, the appearance of the message “sorry, this page isn’t available” in the Instagram app might indicate that the user has altered the name of their social media account. Alternatively, the user might have opted to temporarily deactivate the account. This option is useful for individuals seeking a break from social media without permanently deleting their profiles. Deactivating an account renders it inaccessible to other users.
Another possibility behind the disappearance of an Instagram account could be a violation of Instagram’s terms of service. Instances of abuse towards other users or engagement in inappropriate behaviour may result in the automatic suspension of the account.
Typically, such suspensions come with a temporary ban, often lasting around 48 hours, though they can also be permanent depending on the severity or frequency of the violations.
In addition to her Instagram account, Sandra Dewi’s YouTube channel appears to have also been affected, with all content removed. The channel, boasting over 39,000 subscribers, now stands empty.
It’s worth noting that Sandra Dewi had only launched her official YouTube channel in 2022, as revealed in her inaugural video post. “Hi everyone, finally I am Sandra Dewi, finally I have an official YouTube,” she announced in the video.
