11-4-2024 (MANILA) The Philippines anticipates approximately $100 billion in investment deals over the next five to ten years as a result of the country’s trilateral summit with the United States and Japan, as stated by the presidential office, quoting its ambassador to Washington.
According to the Presidential Communications Office (PCO), the investments will span various sectors, including energy and digital infrastructure, as highlighted by Philippine Ambassador to the United States Jose Manuel Romualdez.
“We’re talking about a hundred billion in investments in the next five to ten years,” stated the PCO, citing Romualdez.
Philippine President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. is currently in Washington for an unprecedented trilateral meeting with his U.S. and Japanese counterparts.
