4-4-2024 (KUALA LUMPUR) A romantic liaison took a tragic turn when a 45-year-old man was stabbed multiple times while engaged in sexual intercourse, ultimately succumbing to his injuries. The grisly incident unfolded in the town of Kuala Krai, Kelantan, where police received a report of the incident around 6.30 pm on Monday, April 1st.
According to a statement by Kelantan’s police chief, Zaki Harun, the victim was found lying in front of a public bathroom in Dataran Lemang, Manek Urai. Initial examinations revealed stab wounds on his stomach, though no signs of blood were present at the scene.
“Police investigations revealed that the incident happened on March 28th, after the victim took a woman from Sungai Tong Setiu, Terengganu, to several locations in Kuala Krai. While having sex with the woman, he was stabbed three times,” Zaki said.
The New Straits Times later reported that the woman was believed to be the victim’s girlfriend.
Zaki further disclosed that the victim had a prior criminal record, including a case of wrongful confinement of a woman and drug-related offenses. A post-mortem examination conducted at the Sultan Ismail Petra Hospital confirmed that the cause of death was due to stabbing, with the knife penetrating the abdomen and hitting the colon. Tragically, the victim failed to seek immediate medical attention, and his wounds worsened due to a bacterial infection.
Following the investigation, a 28-year-old woman has been arrested, and police have seized a vegetable knife believed to be the murder weapon. The case is now being investigated under Section 302 of the Penal Code for murder.
