The elderly man suffered a severe asthma attack, believed to be triggered by the fumes emitted from firecrackers, and sadly succumbed to the condition eight days later.

According to reports from Sin Chew Daily and Oriental Daily, the late Mr. Chung, a loving father and fan of firecrackers, experienced an asthma attack shortly after being exposed to the fumes. Despite receiving medical attention, his condition deteriorated, and he tragically passed away on February 17.
