The decision stemmed from suspicions of smoke emerging from the aircraft’s cabin. At present, it remains uncertain whether any passengers or crew members sustained injuries during the incident.
As per Cathay Pacific’s flight details, the aircraft was initially slated for departure at 8:15 am with an anticipated arrival in Penang around 12:05 pm. However, the flight encountered delays, and its estimated time of arrival has been postponed to 3:50 pm, causing inconvenience for passengers.
