9-1-2024 (WASHINGTON) A driver crashed into an exterior gate at the White House on Monday night, resulting in a prompt response from officials. The incident occurred around 6 p.m., and the driver was subsequently taken into custody, as confirmed by Secret Service spokesperson Anthony Guglielmi.
Guglielmi stated, “We are investigating the cause & manner of the collision,” indicating ongoing efforts to determine the circumstances surrounding the crash. Notably, President Biden was not present at the White House during the incident.
