15-122023 (SINGAPORE) Brittiany Lee, a content creator from the birthplace of the iconic Golden Arches, has a unique passion for tasting McDonald’s menu items from around the world. Recognizing that not all McDonald’s are created equal, Lee recently visited McDonald’s Singapore and shared her experience in a TikTok post on November 21.
Upon arriving at the ordering kiosk in Singapore, Lee was immediately drawn to the Ninja Burger and Buttermilk Crispy Chicken burger, options not available at McDonald’s in her current home of Australia. Eager to explore the classics, she also ordered the Double Cheeseburger and, of course, the iconic fries.
Unfortunately, Lee’s meal turned out to be a mix of hits and misses. The Double Cheeseburger failed to impress, with its unappetizing appearance and noticeably dry and burnt taste. Even a sip of Sprite couldn’t salvage the experience, as Lee found it to be weaker compared to the American version.
Thankfully, the fries and chicken nuggets provided some redemption. The fries met her expectations, tasting just as they should, while the nuggets paired with barbecue sauce received high praise. Lee boldly declared them the best McDonald’s nuggets she has ever had.
@fullofbrit It’s my goal to try McDonald’s in every country that I go to, to try out different items on the menu that wouldn’t be at your typical McDonald’s. Let’s see if “I’m lovin’ it” at the McDonald’s in Singapore. #mcdonalds #imlovinit #mcdonaldssingapore #southeastasia #singapore #thingstodoinsingapore #travelvlog #travelfinds #traveltiktok ♬ Micky D’z – Fly Boi Keno
Overall, Lee rated McDonald’s Singapore a 6.5 out of 10—not exceptional, but not terrible either.
