With an impressive leg span that can extend up to 10 centimetres, this spider, adorned in yellow patterns with speckled sides, has become a notable presence in the northeastern part of Thailand. The region is home to two distinct species, namely the Yellow Golden Orb and the Black Yellow Spot.
Distinguished by its yellow hue and two parallel yellow stripes along its back, the Yellow Golden Orb is a striking specimen. On the other hand, the Black Yellow Spot features a single yellow spot arranged lengthwise on its black-toned body. KhaoSod reports that these species are commonly found in dense, sun-sheltered forests in the northeastern region of Thailand.
