The episode, set to air on November 19, features the six regular cast members, Yoo Jae-seok, Ha Ha, Ji Seok-jin, Kim Jong-kook, Song Ji-hyo, and Yang Se-chan, along with guest stars Hong Jin-ho and actress Shin Ye-eun.
The 40-second teaser, released on YouTube, showcases the cast’s excitement and laughter as they explore various iconic locations in Singapore. The stars visited Haji Lane and Satay Street, expressing their wonder at the vibrant sights. However, the mood shifted dramatically when the cast experienced a painful massage that left even the typically resilient Kim Jong-kook in agony.
The episode also includes a visit to the Mandai Wildlife Reserve, where the cast encountered rhinoceros and explored different animal enclosures via a tram ride. The preview concluded with the cast enjoying dinner at Lau Pa Sat.
Singaporean fans of “Running Man” can look forward to a two-part special, with the second episode airing on November 26. The episodes were produced in collaboration with Filmplace, SBS, and the Singapore Tourism Board, showcasing the cast’s adventures in the city’s iconic locations and culinary delights.
Lincoln Lin, CEO at Filmplace, expressed excitement about bringing “Running Man” to Singapore, believing that it will resonate with audiences globally. Serene Tan, regional director of North Asia at the Singapore Tourism Board, hopes that these episodes will inspire viewers to explore Singapore and discover its diverse offerings. The first episode will air on Seoul Broadcasting System’s (SBS) official TV channels on November 19 at 5:30 pm SGT, and fans in Singapore can catch it on the Viu streaming platform.
