This graduate decided to add a twist to the traditional convocation proceedings by attempting a backflip on stage, an act meant to dazzle the audience and create a lasting memory. However, the outcome was far from what he had envisioned, leaving both the in-person and online viewers in a state of amusement.
Rather than landing gracefully, the graduate found himself flat on his face, an unexpected spectacle that drew laughter and surprise from the onlookers. Miraculously, the young man appeared unhurt, and he swiftly rose to his feet, wearing a sheepish smile as he exited the stage.

The ill-fated backflip occurred as the graduate was awarded a Bachelor of Science with Honours in Physiotherapy from the Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT). As he was making his exit after receiving the degree, he momentarily hesitated, crouched down, and leaped into the air, attempting the daring feat.
This audacious act caught the audience and even some of the academic staff by surprise. The outcome was far from what anyone had expected, with the graduate tumbling forward, landing face-first, and causing his mortarboard to fall to the floor.
