7-10-2023 (SINGAPORE) The Central Narcotics Bureau (CNB) of Singapore has made a significant breakthrough in the battle against drug trafficking, with the recent arrest of three suspected drug offenders. In an official statement released on Saturday, the CNB detailed the operation’s success, including the seizure of a substantial quantity of heroin.
The CNB officials apprehended the suspects and confiscated a staggering 2,464 grams of heroin, with an estimated street value exceeding SGD 259,000, equivalent to around USD 190,000. This significant drug haul, the bureau emphasized, has the potential to supply 1,170 drug users for an entire week.
The CNB has been actively conducting investigations into all individuals arrested in connection with this operation.
