19-9-2023 (TOKYO) In a devastating incident at a building construction site in Tokyo’s Nihombashi district, four workers were left unconscious and in critical condition after sustaining injuries on Tuesday morning. The local fire department reported the incident, which is currently under investigation by the Metropolitan Police Department and other relevant authorities.
According to the fire department, a steel frame is believed to have fallen from the 8th floor of the building, crashing down to the 4th floor. The exact circumstances leading to the accident are yet to be determined, and authorities are diligently working to ascertain the full details of the incident.
The construction site is situated in close proximity to the Yaesu exit of JR Tokyo Station.
