Wang, known for his multifaceted talents, engaged with fans at a closed-door event held at Resorts World Sentosa, offering insights into his highly anticipated second album.
The singer hinted at his album’s distinctive character, describing it as “very kiasu.” The term “kiasu” originates from Singapore’s Hokkien dialect and is often used to describe an individual who is highly competitive or anxious about missing out on opportunities. Wang’s choice of words indicates that his upcoming album will reflect his drive for excellence and an unwillingness to settle for mediocrity.
He also shared his enthusiasm for Singapore’s vibrant culture and delectable cuisine. He particularly expressed his love for the local food scene, singling out Tian Tian Hainanese Chicken Rice at Maxwell Food Centre as a standout experience.
