In a viral video, he shared the moment when his friend arrived at the airport to pick him up in a hearse, complete with an actual coffin in the car boot.
TikTok user Fahmii, known as @encikkhairulfahmi, captured this unique airport pickup in a video that left viewers both amused and bewildered. He humorously captioned the video as “Always thinking of death,” giving a lighthearted twist to the unconventional reunion.
In the video, Fahmii’s friend pulled up to the airport in the hearse, and the onscreen text described it as the point of view (POV) of someone who is being greeted by their “friend from hell” at the airport. While some might find the sight unsettling, one of Fahmii’s friends behind the camera can be heard laughing uncontrollably as the hearse arrives.
Fahmii then emerges from the hearse to show that his friend is indeed the one behind the steering wheel. The camera pans to the backseat, and finally, to the boot area, revealing the actual coffin, which prompts even more laughter from Fahmii and his friends, presumably out of shock and disbelief.
According to Fahmii, this unusual airport pickup occurred at Kota Kinabalu International Airport. Initially, his friend had told him that he would be picking them up in a Vellfire car. To their astonishment, after a half-hour wait, their friend arrived in the hearse, explaining that he had just taken it for a car wash and decided to head straight to the airport.
Despite the macabre nature of the situation, Malaysians found humor in it and made various jokes about the unconventional airport pickup. While hearse rides are usually associated with somber occasions, the light-hearted response from Malaysians highlighted the morbidly humorous side of this unexpected reunion.
Nonetheless, it’s safe to say that the next time Fahmii arrives at the airport, he hopes for a more conventional mode of transportation from his friend.
