The exercises, which took place from August 7 to 10, focused on combating drug trafficking at sea. This collaborative effort was confirmed by an official statement released by the Chinese side.
The annual North Pacific coast guard drills, held in the eastern Chinese city of Ningbo, saw the participation of maritime law enforcement personnel from several countries, including Russia and South Korea. The primary objective was to enhance coordination and strengthen capabilities in the fight against the illicit drug trade in the maritime domain.
